Went to the district office today in Miami Lakes. When they called #49 a man who had #48 went to the window. Number 49 started yelling at the man and actually said "Can you count?" The security guard tried to intervene and Mr. 49 said " Don't talk to me!" Then security said to him " You have been giving me attitude since you came in." Then there was a bunch of profanity and threats to kick his a$$. But security went back and sat down. Then they call Mr. 49 back to the window and security yelled karma and everyone started laughing. I was looking around to see what was going on. I saw #49 on the phone. A actual old school 90's desk phone with a cord.
So Mr. 48 is happy and gone out the door with his check. So I went to get the tea from security. He told me the phone is bad news. They have someone in the back tell them on the phone they are not getting a check due to back taxes, child support or unemployment. I watch him go to his car. But he didn't leave. 15 minutes later they called me to get my check and when I was leaving. That man was still sitting in his car with the engine running. I think he was confused why he didn't get a check.🤔 The moral of the story. Be nice to people and be very afraid of the phone with a cord. -
