Hi!

I was Hoping to find a Text Editor that will

Highlight all occurrences of a Number in the text file.

So far I find Editors that Claim to Have

But when I search for a Number or even a Word it Does not Highlight Anything!

It seems that the text editors only use a Highlight certain Syntaxs that is useful for Programmers!

All I am trying to do is Type in a Number for example I want find Highlight all occurrences of the Number 7

When I search for 7 then all the 7’s get Highlighted

Anybody have any Ideas?

Thanks

Frank

In Word 2003, Edit on the top menu, then Replace

Find what - type in 7

Replace what - type in 7, then hit (in the lower left) MORE

Then hit (in the lower left) FORMAT

Then hit HIGHLIGHT at the bottom.

    Then REPLACE ALL

    Works for me.
