I'm not sure about the payouts. I thought it was just a mistake that the guy who types in the numbers made. But now I feel uncertain whether the number was a 9 or a 6. I put it down in my journal as a 6.
That would make an interesting news story though - "Poor Ball Marking Strategies Result In Confusion for Lotto Players, Officials" - because they don't differentiate between 6s and 9s.
BTW I played "1252" for that drawing, because my bill at Target was $12.52 - and then the person after me also had a bill of $12.52!
Today's winning 3-ball is going to be a number between 000 and 999.
In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play!
