The NY Yankees owner George Steinbrenner died today of a massive heart attack in Tampa, Florida. He was 80 years old. During Steinbrenner's ownership from 1973 to his death, the longest in club history, the Yankees earned 11 pennants and 7 World Series titles.

            I saw an interview last night where George Steinbrenner said that that was exactly what he wanted on his tombstone.

              I loved the way he took care of business with Billy Martin when he really didn't want to.

              He always loved him and forgave him.
