The California Lottery now has digital prize meters linked to the California Lottery central computer in convenience stores that automatically show how much the prize amounts are for Fantasy 5, Mega Millions, and SLP.

Do any other states have these?

Yeah and the one in the Middlesboro Krogers doesn't work most of the time so you have to give it to the clerk anyway.

Haven't been there in quite a while now so that may have changed (but I doubt it).

The scanners in VA ain't much better though. They're on the scratcher vending machines and you have to run the ticket under the scanner about a hundred times in just the perfect spot before it will read it and then it doesn't tell you how much you've won but only that it's a winner and "see clerk."  (Oh great, thank you).
