That would be the 6 if 6 of 49 wheel that has 13,983,816 lines.

Perhaps I should have re-phrased the question, I did of course mean which abbreviated wheel has won or is likely to have won most jackpots. I asked after reading a GH book recently and the any 4 from 6 in 18 number wheel looked to be the most successful in that particular book.

Abbreviate wheels are intended to do specific things like a 3 if 4 of 15 number wheel is designed to match 3 numbers on one line only if 4 of the 15 numbers are drawn. A pleasant side affect is when all 4 numbers are on the same line or there happens to be two 3 number matches. By matching 5 of the numbers, the chances of hitting more secondary prizes grows and matching all 6 gives you one chance of hitting the jackpot.

It's possible to get a 4 number match by only matching 4 numbers playing a 4 if 6 of 18 number wheel but that depends on how you entered the numbers into the wheel. The win guarantee should be irrelevant if the object is to match 6 of the 18 numbers and win the jackpot so what is relevant is the order the in which the numbers are entered but that's not what the wheel is intended to do.

That wheel has 42 combos but any 18 number wheel using 42 combo with no secondary prize guarantee would give you exactly the same number of chances of hitting the jackpot. For your measure of success, any wheel with any amount of numbers could be the most successful as long as it matched all 6 numbers on one line. When using 18 numbers and of course 6 of them are drawn, we have a 1 chance out of 18,564.

Most system authors skip over the fact you must first consistently match 6 of what ever amount of numbers before deciding which is he best wheel to use. If you can do it with 18 that would be a good starter wheel, but I believe it will take more numbers before anyone can consistently match 6 numbers out of their group.

                    To get 6 out of 6 on a budget  20 dollar range 6 if 6 of 8,  50 dollar range 6 if 6 of 9 key wheels.
