On March 6, 1998, there was a fatal shooting at the Connecticut Lottery headquarters in Newington. (The Connecticut Lottery headquarters is currently in Rocky Hill.) A Lottery employee, Matt Beck, killed four of his supervisors, then himself.

A mind once stretched by a new idea never returns to its original dimensions!

From my observations, people who kill large numbers of people and then themselves have serious underlying mental issues.

Today's winning 3-ball is going to be a number between 000 and 999.

In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play!

Very often a person has serious mental issues then co-workers take advantage of the situation, don't care a bit, and use it to hurt the other person. Then he blows up and people wonder why. Sometimes I have no sympathy for the people that got shot.

Mental problems are completely ignored in this country. Look at all the deaths due to suicides in this country, if it's  cancer there is sympathy and caring, if something goes wrong with the brain which is another organ, it is THAT persons fault.

Would have been nice if one of those killed was armed. Might never have happened or it might have ended much differently.

But being Connecticut I assume it's against the law to carry a gun.

And as we can see, the liberal system worked perfectly.

The one where you beg for mercy from a madman. Yeah, that worked real good.

I guess that wasn't a very lucky day for the lottery.
