Lucky Lines. They've finally introduced a game that might very well be my undoing. It's not a scratch-off per se, but it is instant. You pick 7 numbers, and the amount you'd like to play: $1 thru $5. You then mark your numbers on the game board just like with Bingo. 7 numbers in a row on a $1 play pays $400K, and $3.5 mill on a $5 play.

Did I mention it's instant? I don't have to wait for a late nite drawing.

    I noticed the  ads for this game and thought it was interesting. Ill be playing it to see how well I do. I think its starts the 11th correct?

     

     

    Seems like a neat game. Hopefully we win some $$$ from it =)

      It starts this Monday at 7am. I'll be at the closest terminal at 7:01am ready to make history.

      Although, I'm thinking there probably won't be any big winners until they build up that pot first. I dunno.

        Lucky Lines takes the Florida Lottery into real gambling, like video keno this will be an addicting game and I can't wait to try it!!!

        As the prizes are fixed I don't think we're going to have to wait for the prize pool to grow, I believe it is prefunded.

        7/49 with a prize for no winner.  Pick or QP seven numbers and the terminal prints out a 7x7 grid with all 49 numbers.  QP and the grid is in numeric order, pick you own numbers and the grid is randomized.   The only real drawback is the numbers must form a chain for a winning pattern, but you can have two chains and win two prizes if they don't touch.   

        One possible strategy, don't pick numbers in numeric order clusters.

            I can't say I like the look of the Quick Picks because the grid is in numeric order 01-49, looks like the Florida Lottery is playing pointer numbers against their Quick Pick.  If someone took a sheet of graph paper and wrote seven lines . . .

            08-09-10-11-12-13-14
            15-16-17-18-19-20-21
            22-23-24-25-26-27-28
            29-30-31-32-33-34-35
            36-37-38-39-40-41-42
            43-44-45-46-47-48-49

            and played the pointer number lines, without having done a number exchange, down, across and criss cross I wouldn't expect them to do well let alone have all seven numbers on a line to win a jackpot. 

            Even though the odds must be the same, I feel the way to go is playing our own well chosen combinations and letting the Florida Lottery pick and play its lines against our combination.

            As you can see, there are neighboring pairs of numbers, sometimes two pairs of neighboring numbers in a line, don't see, three, four, five.   Note even 08/20 with 4 5 7 8 the pairs are broken by the missing 6. 

            Will be interesting to see how the terminal picks the grid when we pick the combination.

                Played 3 times yesterday. 2 $2 dollar QP, plays won nothing.

                 

                Then last night played a $5 bet (Picked my own 7 numbers) and won $9.00

                 

                So for the day I broke even.
