You take an X you see the empty spaces the x has, they are 4 of them...

you let:

1 and 2 = 1

3 and 4 = 2

5 and 6 = 3

7 and 8 = 4

9 and 10 = 5 [for pick4/Pick3 treat 0 as 10]

and so on...

Well for Pick4 you write: 5 X´s... 4 compressed numbers on the first X, then 4 compressed numbers on the second X then 4 compressed numbers on the third X and 4 compressed numbers on the forth X, then 4 compressed numbers on the fifth X...or instead of an X you can trace a line in the middle of the X as if to write a pentagon then you will need 4 and not 5 X´s...And whatever plays it will be as if the X or pentagon had rotated...and you look for the time or second how much they had rotated like a watch/clock...all of them clockwise or counterclock wise....Such a way is for the supercomputer to track...you do the same with pick5 based on the decades...Or with pick3...

There isn't much difference between what you're doing and using Vtracs with the exception that LP has a far better explanation of how Vtracs are used. Without any examples of the value[s] of "X", it's impossible to understand.

x is not a value but a clock more like a clock, i wrote this so people taking trigonometry and geometry can better come up with a formula for pick3 and pick4...

some people can better visualize things graphically sort of like the different ways a person learn, some learn more visually others listen better, ect....
