I live in Greece...not in USA. I play this Keno game ht*p://www.opap.gr/kinoGame.fds?langid=1. We can play this game from certain places (representatives of the organization that runs it). So I should call this State Keno... The game makes use of a true random generator, nevertheless certain winning patterns do appear now and then...

The Orleans and Gold Coast in Las Vegas have a special game where you can play 190 8-way tickets for a penny a way. Players can pick either rows (1-11-21-31, 2-12-22-32, etc.) or boxes (1-2-11-12, 21-22-31-32, etc.). There is a minimum play of 5 games with a cost of $9.50 and it pays $1000. There are prizes for matching 6 and 7 too and I saw a ticket with 3 rows drawn and it paid $3000.

You can play the same ticket in most casinos at a dime a way for $19 for one game and can get paid for matchings 5.

when I played Keno I always went with the numbers that came out the most in 3 draws, with 5 of the numbers that didn't come out at all, I tried to keep my playing field to half the numbers.

This is a good strategy indeed!!! What do you mean by saying "I tried keep my playing field to half the numbers"? Can you explain it further? Do you play 4 numbers only or you put all 8 numbers on the lower and the upper

half of the game?

Sensible methodology post about getting an effective balance of cold to hot numbers ratio.

Back a few blue moons ago I experimented with Professor of Mathematics' Dr IanFerguson's "SYSTEM X" for lottery based on frequency theory collecting number from past 8 games & picking 8 numbers that have hit 3 times plus another 4 that wre drawn twice for a sub total of 12 numbers. next 7 coldest numbers for a grand total of 15 numbers. In brief, from this agregate use any random slection process to select your 6 numbers to play. Dr Ian has a more complicated reduction method but it sumerizes into the same random process.Play 20 tickets made up of different #6 selections out of the aforementioned 15 total and play for 8 games. Then start process from beginning.

On my test run I amnaged to consisteley break even.

Then took this formate and modified same for live Keno Parlor play & was modestly successful.

Hope this proves useful or at least interesting formula for the hot & cold ratios.

eddessaknight, interesting...but for clarification purposes, the aggregate number should be 19 numbers if you add the 12 hot (3 times and 2 times) plus the 7 coldest numbers. Or should we pick 3 out 7 cold numbers?

Sorry, of course you're correct but I do appreciate your catching the typo & miscalculation-

As I originally wrote about this a few blue moons ago I pulled up an old response from Bob p for your reference

System-X: Eight weeks of draws from the UK game which is drawn twice a week. Take the 8 hottest and 7 coldest numbers and play on a 15 number wheel (they call it permutations which can be making up lines of numbers from a larger group until you get tired of it or reach your budget, permutations don't always have a 100%guarantee like a wheel actually any collection of lines do have a percentage of guarantee if you drop them into a wheel tester like CoverMaster, but they don't always have a high percentage nor are they optimal). Play the resulting combinations for 8 weeks, repeat as necessary. Took me less then five minutes to sum up this professor's five year's of research if he ever existed at all." ~ BobP

True, true... Fortunately for us the Keno results are being recorded giving for us all the opportunity to check the results and the potential OUTCOME in a certain period of time.

I always wanted to make this notice to people reading posts (i.e Keno strategies) and not to rush to throw their money carelessly without CHECKING whenever possible.
