My friend from California called me yesterday and told me that a JP in a some state,( i forgot which one he told me), finally won with either 1-2-3-4-5......or 1-2-3-4-5-6

I called him a few minutes ago so he could remind me which state it was, but he didn't answer his phone.

He could be pulling my leg, but it didn't sound like it last night.

Anyone know?

You mean more recently than that, don't you? Did you try to look at the past results page?

Treasure Hunt is small beans....if a multi-million dollar jackpot was won with consecutives, I'd like to know which one too.

Seeing this made me wonder if an unusually high number of people won.  The jackpot was estimated as $60,000, but 49 people won that day, so each won only $1,266.

Any set of numbers is just as likely to be drawn as another, but the choice of numbers can still affect whether a jackpot is shared, or how widely.  An obvious set, such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, is no less likely to win, but it does make it more likely you'll have to share a jackpot.
