All selections contenders for WIN.

All handicapping done BEFORE scratches and changes became available.

Betting advice: 1 betting unit to WIN: 2 betting units to PLACE (WIN double PLACE).

Look for value. Any selection going to post at odds higher than 5-1 is a value play.

My selections are just a heads up to take a second look during your handicapping.

Do your research and make up your own mind. Don't blindly bet these selections.

Best Longshot: Race 2; #14 Ginger Mint

Best Bet: Race 10; #1 I Want Revenge

Race 1

Selections: 3 - 8 - 4 - 10

The 3, M's Will, looks to be sitting on a big race. The 8, No Peace At All, is in good form and likes to run on the lead. The 4, Western Flyer, should be running late in the lane. The 10, Grand Times, has fired fresh of the bench in the past.

Race 2

Selections: 6 - 14 - 2 - 7 - 12

Maidens in here. This race is wide open. The 6, Elarose, makes 2nd start off the bench. The 7, Indian Lady, drops slightly in class. The 2, Afleeting Lady, fits speed/pace wise. The 14, Ginger Mint, puts on the shades for this and tries the turf for the first time. The 12, Rockettes Escapade, runs for the first time for Mott/Desormeaux and has good turf breeding.

Race 3

Selections: 2 - 5 - 3 - 6

The 5, Fort Larned, should go to the front and stay there untill the 2, El Grayling, runs him down in the stretch.

Race 4

Selections: 4 - 3 - 12 - 8 - 15

This Race is wide open. All the runners are making their first stars of the season. anything could happen. Look for a longshot in here.

Race 5

Selections: 5 - 2 - 7 - 8

The 5, Starship Valor, usually fires fresh.

Race 6

Selections: 4 - 8 - 7 - 5

The 8, War For Gus, drops in class for this and fits speed/pace wise. The 4, The Best Glacier, clipped heels in last and drops in class for this.

Race 7

Selections: 3 - 11 - 1 - 10

The 11, Toocleverforwords, is on a 3 race winning streak. The 3, Cherokee Queen, should be running late in the lane.

Race 8

Selections: NONE; To many first time starters in here. Of the runners who have run, the 1, Punster, looks the best in here.

Race 9

Selections: 7 - 6 - 4 - 8 - 3

The 7, Twilight Meteor, looks like the one to beat in here. Jersey Joe Bravo is on the 6, Little Mike, who is 5 for 6 on the grass.

Race 10 The Donn Handicap

Selections: 1 - 7 - 8 - 3

The 1, I Want Revenge, make first start of the season and form fits in here. The 7, Square Eddie, has a good shot in here. The 8, Rule, is in very good form.

Race 11

Selections; 8 - 9 - 2 - 5
