I dropped $5 on triple 9's for this evening and I just realized I made the mistake of doing THIS to three of the tickets:

TORN TICKET

If they pop, do you think I stand a chance at getting my winnings or am I royally SCREWED??? What?

    wow..how?

    Nevermind.

Whatever you do, don't tape it.

You might get 1/2 of one and 1/2 of another and be in the same boat.

Really, though...you have the bar code there. There is nothing missing, right?

If it shows, take your ticket and cash it. I've had clerks tell me it doesn't matter if the ticket is torn.

I called myself cleaning out my bag of all the non winning tickets from the day before and made the mistake of scooping three of them up with it. Confused *Thank god I decided to hold off on taping them back together! I swear that was my FIRST thought.

      Thank You for the reply.

I know this is of little consolation right now, but going forward save all of you non-winning tickets until the end of the year because if you get a big enough win that will get taxed you CAN write off your losses against that win.  Good luck on those triples ...
