The pick 3 is really a straight game.
There are 1000 combinations
720 Singles
270 Doubles
So in the long run maybe about 27% of the wining combinations would be expected to be doubles.
That is somewhere from 1/4 to 1/3 of the time, but closer to 1/4.
Some states have only 1 daily draw like Nebraska:
Mon, Feb 21, 2011 1-7-2
Sat, Feb 19, 2011 5-6-1
Fri, Feb 18, 2011 3-3-4
Thu, Feb 17, 2011 6-7-2
Wed, Feb 16, 2011 4-2-8
Tue, Feb 15, 2011 0-7-2
Mon, Feb 14, 2011 3-4-0
Sat, Feb 12, 2011 3-7-9
Fri, Feb 11, 2011 8-3-3
Thu, Feb 10, 2011 8-8-9
Only 10 past draws, but we see there 3 doubles out of combos.
That appears to be normal, maybe too much, but as it is seen elsewhere
2 of the doubles were very close together.
10 Draws are too few, but we see that:
Oldest draw first:
8-8-9
8-3-3
3-3-4
See the movement of those digits? I have often seen such a thing.
We might even sometimes see something like this that I am going to make up and it is not on those 10 draws:
227
220
Like the 2 double digits repeating on the very same side-position.
As there are only 3 doubles there I can do no more here with that game.
--------------
So let us try to look at another game from which I can get more past doubles, a game like Tx, but it has 2 daily draws so that makes for stats complications as I have seen before.

There are some doubles there and most of them at least 2 each close together.
I have seen that often enough before.
Maybe because of that there are many sections of draws were there are no doubles for very many draws.
Random or a trick from the state lotteries? I don't know, but produces both: predictability and unpredictability elements.
There, there are from 1 up to 3 doubles in sequence.
There were there up to 13 singles in sequence without doubles.
Random or not, this way if anybody played doubles during that time would lose a lot of money.
The best way there maybe would have been to play a double after a double comes out, that might have worked there about 3 times out of 6.
Now: How to analize that? A possible way:
8 2 8
9 3 3
4 4 5
2 2 6
5 5 4 3 Draws Double digits on the Lth side position.
4 9 4
4 2 4 2 Draws Double digits on the sides position
3 8 8
9 0 9
6 0 6 2 Draws Double digits on the sides position
Random at work or tricks for the state lotteries? I don't know
Would such always be like that? A person has to keep on checking stats to see what happens.
-----
Same doubles used as before
A double is 2 same and 1 other
8 2 8 88 2
9 3 3 33 9
4 4 5 44 5
2 2 6 22 6
5 5 4 55 4
4 9 4 44 9
4 2 4 44 2 A 44 repeat from last double
3 8 8 88 3
9 0 9 99 0
6 0 6 66 0 A 0 repeat from last double
Other than those, no repeats on digits from last to next double.
They have other stats of use such as High-Low, Even-Odd, Sums, LDRs, Roots, Widths, In-Out and whatever else, like difference filters.
As known, they are 3 way numbers: 221, 122, 212.
Maybe that might help somebody a little.
Not all games are exactly the same and the same game might change somewhat from time to time.
Sometime on games with 2 daily draws, the daily draws might somewhat complement each other, that might help somewhat with long No Hits skips.
