As we all know, the odds of a given digit in the pick 3 being high instead of low, or odd instead of even, are exactly 50/50. I have thought of a new way (well... new to me, at least) of looking at the numbers. When considering the positions (i.e., first, second, or third) of the numbers, one can think of each digit as being most recent, second most recent, third most recent, etc. Hence, the odds of a given digit in the pick 3 being one of the 5 most recent vs the 5 least recent are also exactly 50/50.
Any other ways of looking at the numbers that come out to exactly 50/50?
