All selections contenders for WIN.

All handicapping done BEFORE scratches and changes became available.

Betting advice: 1 betting unit to WIN: 2 betting units to PLACE (WIN double PLACE).

Look for value. Any selection going to post at odds higher than 5-1 is a value play.

My selections are just a heads up to take a second look during your handicapping.

Do your research and make up your own mind. Don't blindly bet these selections.

Best Longshot: Race 9; #7 Leave Of Absence

Best Bet: Race 10; #7 To Honor And Serve

Race 1

Selections: 9 - 5 - 2 - 3

The 9, Cho, looks to be sitting on a race here. The 5, Wicky Jones, runs for sharp connections for this and should hit the board.

Race 2

Selections: 3 - 8 - 1 - 10

The 3, Bureaucat, makes 2nd start off bench after 3 month rest. Could upset at a square price. The 8, To The Point, is a need to lead type that may just get the lead and hang on at the wire.

Race 3

Selections: 2 - 4 - 1 - 3

The 2, Arch Traveler, is an obvious favorite that makes third start off bench for J. Jerkens. The 4, Porcini Prince,  makes first start off bench for new connections. The 3, Hothersal, makes a surface switch and attracts a top jock for this. Should be right there at the wire.

Race 4

Selections: 8 - 3 - 4 - 10 - 12

This Race is wide open. The 8, Papaw Bodie, can win this with a repeat of last effort. The 3, Coffee Break, steps up in class off a sneaky good run in last race. The 4, Show The Way, is in good form and runs for very sharp connections.

Race 5

Selections: 8 - 9 - 4 - 11

The 8, Mr. Universo, likes these marathon distances. The 9, Sporty, makes 2nd start off bench and attracts top jock for this start.

Race 6

Selections: 10 - 5 - 4 - 9

The 5, Zatopek, may be able to run with these in first lifetime start. The 10, Voodat, takes off the shades and looks tough in here for Leparoux and McPeek.

Race 7

Selections: 5 - 8 - 9 - 7

The 5, Mikoshi, first start off the bench and fits speed/pace wise. The 8, Rouge Victory, makes first start off the bench and could step up and win this at a square price.

Race 8 Davona Dale Stakes

Selections: 1 - 4 - 8 - 5

The 1, Mending Hearts, could step up off the MSW win and win this at a square price. The 8, Pomeroys Pistol, looks like the one to beat in here.

Race 9 Hutcheson Stakes

Selections: 7 - 5 - 10 - 8

The 7, Leave Of Absence, The shades go on and should get a strong pace to close into for the win at a square price. The 5, Flashpoint, fits speed/pace wise and should hit the board at a square price.

Race 10 Fountain Of Youth Stakes

Selections: 7 - 2 - 1 - 6

The 7, To Honor And Serve, looks like the one to beat in here. The 6, Racing Aptitude, fits in here speed/pace wise and could pull off the absolute shocker on the switch back to a dirt surface.

Race 11

Selections; 8 - 5 - 3 - 7

This race is wide open. The 8, Foolish Tiger, puts the shades on for sharp connections.
