I think the horror stories might be true on some of the $5 books...Like our new Winner Take All...mainly
a rotten ticket I think. I couldn't imagine buying a whole book of them. I did find a $60 winner but the
other tickets I've tried make me think they are as junkie as the Pot O Luck...those are rotten in my
experience. 20x the Money, another $5 ticket here seems to be a teaser...when they first came out I got
a 5 symbol with a $5 amount below it...total: $25.00 I have found nothing worth talking about lately, $5
here another $5 there.
If I had to choose a $5 book to buy, it would be either Monopoly or ....... well, just the Monopoly - I think
the other ones are pretty bad. Monopoly has been good at giving moneybags and $75 prizes lately and
that's more than I can say for all of the other $5 tickets.
I have my favorite $10 and $20 tickets...Cash Fever $20, Money, Money, Money $10.
I think a key point is experience with them...if you know a ticket has been good in the past, let that
help be your deciding factor. I think the states..PA does it...release junk every other month...It's not
only the NEW tickets that do well..you will find some of the older ones giving much more than the newer
ones.
I think they screw around with the placement of winners - how would we ever know? Put tons of books
out there with $5 winners in the first month...make people buy them up like crazy and have the better
winners strategically placed...like in the middle so by the time July rolls around after the release in
January, people have pumped $$$$ into winning their money back or nothing at all. Then, BAM, BAM,
BAM....all top prizes go out and they close the game....Just wondering what was *strategically placed*
AFTER the top winners???? BS.
I would NEVER buy a book of Emerald 8's..our NEW $5 ticket...they stink! I DO NOT win on those. I
wouldn't expect to get lucky with a book of them either...JUNK. The new Hershey's tickets, $5, I hated
them the second I saw them and don't touch them.
We've got a handy, dandy little rules page..on that page it says 7 million tickets printed for certain games.
They also have the prizes listed and the odds of finding them along with number of winners printed per
run...sick to see out of 7 million tickets, the actual winners among them and amounts.
For instance, to find a $1,000 ticket...good luck with only 24 printed per 2,800,000 tickets!!
I did find a $1,000 one tonight but sure won't hold my breath for the next one...not with that revelation.
If I'm running strictly on luck...then I hope it holds out, with those stats, it looks a person needs extreme
luck.
