All selections contenders for WIN.

All handicapping done BEFORE scratches and changes became available.

Betting advice: 1 betting unit to WIN: 2 betting units to PLACE (WIN double PLACE).

Look for value. Any selection going to post at odds higher than 5-1 is a value play.

My selections are just a heads up to take a second look during your handicapping.

Do your research and make up your own mind. Don't blindly bet these selections.

Best Longshot: Race 10; #8 Pulsion

Best Bet: Race 8; #1 Uncle Mo

Race 1

Selections: 5 - 4 - 7 - 11

The 5, Dirge, drops in class, should be running late in the lane. Go time. The 4, Nergal, steps up slightly in class off good run in last.

Race 2

Selections: 7 - 8 - 3 - 5

The 7, Praetero, puts on the shades and makes 2nd start off bench after short rest. The 3, Gold Necessities, makes 3rd lifetime start for sharp connections.

Race 3

Selections: 2 - 3 - 5 - 9

This Race is wide open. The 2, Glitzy Girl, ships in from Woodbine and trys the weeds for the first time. The 3, Ginger Mint,  makes second start off bench at this class level. The 9, Judiths Memory, puts on the shades and tries the weeds for the first time.

Race 4

Selections: 3 - 5 - 2 - 4

The 3, With Moms Blessing, makes 1st start off bench. The 5, Glotona, first start of the year after good runs at Calder. The 2, Sister Resistor, makes first start of year for sharp connections.

Race 5

Selections: 5 - 1 - 12 - 3

The 5, Hardrocker, drops in claiming price and switches jocks for this. The 1, Iwannaiwannaiwanna, is always close, but has trouble sealing the deal.

Race 6

Selections: 2 - 6 - 3 - 7 - 11

This Race is wide open. The 3, Mutiny, drops in class for this. The 6, Above The Fray, fits in here speed/pace wise.

Race 7

Selections: 10 - 8 - 3 - 5

The 10, My Valentino, needs to work out a trip to win this. The 8, Hal, can win this with right trip.

Race 8 Timely Writer Stakes

Selections: 1 - 3 - 4 - 2

The 1, Uncle Mo, gets a glorifed workout in here. Obvious favorite. The 3, Madman Diaries, should complete the exacta behind Uncle Mo.

Race 9 Palm Beach Stakes

Selections: 8 - 9 - 5 - 7

The 8, Pluck, looks like the one to beat in here. The 9, Master Dunker, should be right there at the wire.

Race 10 Gulfstream Park Handicap

Selections: 7 - 6 - 8 - 1

The 7, Soaring Empire, legitimate fav in here can close late and win this. The 8, Pulsion, fits in here speed/pace wise and should be right there at the wire.
