Gap Strategy - Straights and Boxes, Inventory and Tracking logs
In Gap Strategy, decisions regarding which numbers have the best chance of winning are guided according
to the data in various inventory and tracking logs.
There are 8 different logs: two each for the lottery number, gap number, Position Identifier and
Alpha Identifier streams generated on the Worksheet.
These logs are essential to the prediction process. In other words, they are MANDATORY.
If a User doesn't initiate and keeps these 8 logs current to the last drawing,
choosing numbers to play will be difficult.
Remember, Gap Strategy generates several data streams. It is the variations in these streams
that aid the user in deciding which combinations to spend money on. If these logs are not
available, or worse, not current, then the user should consider an alternative playing method.
As indicated, there are a minimum of two logs for each data stream.
The data is logged on graph paper.
There are two sizes that are generally available: The cheaper has about 22 columns and 42 lines.
The more expensive has about 34 columns and 44 lines.
Personally, I use the cheaper for my Worksheets and Logs. Where possible, I use both sides. (LOL)
The point is that the larger the graph paper, the more data that can be logged. The more data
you can view at one time, the easier it is to spot trends and make rational playing choices.
Lottery Numbers - Inventory
There will be many instances where the inventory totals can help a player choose between
numbers. True, the higher totals aren't always the best choices. But, in Gap Strategy,
the totals are really significant.
Format:
Identify the Game and Log: Texas Pick 3, combined drawings, Inventory (date started: xx)
Put headers on 10 consecutive lines beginning with 0
Procedures: Keep a running tally of the numbers as they 'come up' for both day and night
drawings.
A 'heads up,'the totals for Texas Pick 3 combined drawings as of March 24 night drawing are: (The counting started on Feb. 1)
0 - 26
1 - 21
2 - 30
3 - 34
4 - 39
5 - 40
6 - 24
7 - 38
8 - 31
9 - 30
These totals will be entered on the Playing Worksheet. (Too be discussed later)
Log Number 2: Separate piece of graph paper.
Lottery Numbers: Tracking: Texas Pick 3, combined drawings (Feb. 1)
In Gap Strategy, the number of 'hits' and 'misses' are counted, column by column, according to drawing results
which are divided into groups said to have 'three opportunities' to 'hit.'
The data is logged in separate and adjoining columns, three for each drawing.
Sounds complicated, but the following log entries will show how easy tracking is.
The following totals are as of the March 24 Day drawing where the winning combination was 555.
The updated line entries are as shown.
L# - 5 5 5
0 - 12 13 14
1 - 2 3 4
2 - 28 29 30
3 - 1 2 3
4 - 17 18 19
5 - * * *
6 - 9 10 11
7 - 8 9 10
8 - 6 7 8
9 - 3 4 5
(Note: 0, 2 and 4 are definitely due!!)
The winning combination for the March 24 night drawing was 748.
The log lines are updated as follows:
Referring to Line 7 (digit 7), an asterist is entered in the cell next to the 10.
This signifies it was the first of the three winning numbers.
Using a colored pencil, red, aids analysis.
The remaining line totals are increased by 1.
The updated logs is:
L# - 5 5 5 7
0 - 12 13 14 15
1 - 2 3 4 5
2 - 28 29 30 31
3 - 1 2 3 4
4 - 17 18 19 20
5 - * * * 1
6 - 9 10 11 12
7 - 8 9 10 *
8 - 6 7 8 9
9 - 3 4 5 6
Note: There can only be one asterist per column.
The second lottery number is 4
A 4 is entered on Line 4 in the graph cell adjacent to the 20 already on the line.
The third lottery number is 8.
An 8 is entered on Line 8 in the graph cell adjacent to the 9 already on the line.
The final updated log as of the March 24 night drawing is:
L# 5 5 5 7 4 8
0 - 12 13 14 15 16 17
1 - 2 3 4 5 6 7
2 - 28 29 30 31 32 33
3 - 1 2 3 4 5 6
4 - 17 18 19 20 * 1
5 - * * * 1 2 3
6 - 9 10 11 12 13 14
7 - 8 9 10 * 1 2
8 - 6 7 8 9 10 *
9 - 3 4 5 6 7 8
(Note: The columns line up correctly when the data is transferred to graph paper.)
Using the winning combinations as column headers aids the logging process. It
also is a quality control feature.
Explanations:
1, Zero has NOT been out 17 actual lottery drawings, as the log might imply.
Likewise, L#2 has not been out 33 drawings.
In Gap Strategy, each lottery digit has three chances to 'hit' or 'miss' for each drawing.
An example is Lottery #5 which had 3 consecutive hits in the March 24 Day drawing.
Therefore, the other lottery numbers each had three consecutive 'misses.'
L#5 wasn't in the next drawing, therefore, it has since had three misses.
Lottery number 2 has been out (not drawn) for 11 consecutive actual drawings. Since it
had 3 chances for each drawing, as far as this Gap Strategy tracking log is concerned, it has
'missed' 33 consecutive opportunities.
This is a significant information.
In other words, a player using the Lottery number tracking log might not want to choose
L#2 when deciding which numbers to play. But, there are other factors to consider that might
make selecting #2 the best choice.
The logs are updated after each drawing.
Stay tuned for examples of the other Gap Strategy inventory and tracking logs.
