We can only hope that Jackpots are not destroyed or removed from shelves and put back in warehouse status. However, at one location, I overheard the clerk and Lottery official, they were discussing which game to remove to make room and mentioned "let's take the one that has the fewest on the roll"
So there may not be any co-ordination as to leaving a Jackpot on the rack. Now since there are so few Jackpots it is possible that information is disseminated out pertaining to those 1 or 2 rolls at the 1 or 2 stores to leave those rolls alone and the rest are fair game.
And if it is true that Jackpots are left either on the shelves or ready to be rotated onto a shelf from the warehouse then that could be good. And the fact that tickets are pulled off shelves would actually increase the chances of getting a winner if the game were to be older and tickets were found on the shelf (As long as one could determine that the warehouse was fairly empty for that game)
I know in the case of Cool 100,000 there were just no tickets in my area and so I'm guessing the Jackpot tickets were available and on the shelf of at least some of the 13,000 retailers in FL and not in the warehouse but that game went away with half it's Jackpots. Same thing happened with Treasure Hunter and looks like it is happening now with Match and Win, but I just can't play Match and Win, it is awful to scratch and sure you can check for the code for the small prizes but you have to play through to see if it is a prize over 600.00 and can't go by the code.
I'm mainly going to back it down to just one game for now, Not your favorite James but I don't know what it is, I like it better than most other games ,I'm going after Color of Money. I think it helps that I grabbed good hits so far and I do think there is a Jackpot somewhere not too far from me on that one. I've also just been carefully choosing sometimes 2 tickets here and there and not snapping up 5 to 10 and sustaining a loss so I haven't gotten mad at it yet. But I'm wanting to step it up to see if I can hunt down a bigger prize.
