Hi LottoLaughs: 4 minute draw keno is a great game with a lot of potential. I think it could probably make as much money for states with imaginations hidden somewhere in their lottery staffs as Pick 3. Some states are already doing a bangup job on it... New York, Rhode Island, Washinton DC and Michigan. And I admire what Nebraska has done with all those Big Red Keno restaurant/bars.
But I think some of the states are a bit slow off the starting line, stodgy, or don't see the possibilities. Missouri actually seems to be frightened or ashamed of their draw results. Getting more than 10 past results from them requires a freedom of information demand. I'd love to know what they're hiding.
Georgia, Ohio and Kansas seem to be moving right along making it all user friendlier all the time and I'd expect over the long haul it will gain a lot of popularity. Ohio makes it difficult to look at their results - makes anyone who wants to see yesterday go through 16 pages to get them all, which seems silly, but Oregon does something similar, though it's only 7 pages for a day of drawings. Massachusetts is the Rock of Gibralter, though... been doing it since 1991 and the entire 1.2 million draws are there for anyone to look at who is interested.
I can't figure out what goes on with Maryland. They must not be making any money on the game if what they do on their webpage is any indication. Results are always way behind times. Maryland and Missouri are the two states where it's difficult to imagine the game surviving, instead of thriving.
