Not at all, I had thought that since it's such an old strategy, everyone would already know of it. When I first started playing around with the pick3, it was the first system I came across.
If you hit the lotto-logix (BobP's) site, there's an article called "Power Trails" written about 10 years ago. It gives the full instructions, so pardon my abbreviated instructions.
Take the Sun Mid to Sat Mid Draws (mid-day only) and rank the occurrence of the numbers. I've found that mid draws tend to work better than all or evening, so if you're planning on using for another state, just experiment a few weeks to see what works best. So for this week, in mine they go 2,5,1,6,0,3,7,8,4,9. Then arrange in the pyramid from highest occurrence to lowest occurrence. (If you have similar counts of the same number, I arrange from low to high. So I think 0,3,7,8 hit once, so that's why they're in that order. I've seen it work both ways, low-high and high-low.)
2
5 1
6 0 3
7 8 4 9
Your sets are going down each line, so 256, 567, 213, 139, 504, 108. I've found through some backtesting that there can be hits on the side that skip. So add in 239, 219, 267, 257.
The other thing I've found is that quite often, you get one of the bottom row that will double up. This week, thus far, we've had 144 and 995.
You play starting Sunday morning (unfortunately, I missed the Sunday hit of 192 since I was busy and still wallowing in my anger over the missed trip in CT).
Some weeks (like last week), there are no or only one hit. Some, like this week, there's multiples. It's fairly cheap to keep these in as a backup bet to whatever else you're playing. It's also useful if you're tracking doubles, like me, to see if it's just a random occurrence, or the signs of a number trying to get hot.
It's good for the first few days of the week, and from what I've seen, if it will hit, it's usually by Thus/Fri.
