I totally forgot to mention this the past two times I posted about new features available.
Internet Explorer users (version 8 and above) now can add a Lottery Post "Accelerator" to their browser. An accelerator is a small icon that appears any time you have highlighted some text on the page, and it allows you to instantly "do something" with that highlighted text.
When you highlight text, the icon that appears looks like this:
When you click the icon, you get a list of options for what you want to do with the highlighted text. (Try it right now, you'll see what I mean.) If you add the Lottery Post Accelerator, it allows you to instantly search the Lottery Post Web site for the highlighted text.
To install the Accelerator, click Search in the Forums menu. Internet Explorer users will notice an option in the top-right corner of the Search box marked "Add Lottery Post Search Accelerator". Click that option, and you will get a confirmation box asking if you're sure you want to add it.
Before confirming "Add", if you check the box for "Make this the default for the category", the LP Accelerator will appear in the first accelerator menu that pops up, so I strongly suggest that you DO check the box. It doesn't change anything in your browser; it just makes the LP option easier to find later.
After that, any time you highlight text on a page and click the accelerator button (shown above), you will see an option for searching LP for the highlighted text. Very handy!
Also, any time you want to disable or remove the LP accelerator, it's simple to do. Just click "Manage Add Ons" in the Internet Explorer Tools menu.
Edit: Here's a Microsoft page describing accelerators. It includes a video showing their use.
