I'm not sure I follow what you're saying...
To me, I'm following most states that have 2 p3 and 2 p4 draws a day, and they respond fairly well to the indicators for the systems I use, and for the most part, obey the built in stop flags for these systems. In some states, like NY, I can play an extra draw or two past the stop flag and hit. NC, on the other hand, is hit and miss, and tends to blow through a lot of stop flags. I suppose it's really down to what system you use.
For instance, that 818 that dropped Sunday AM here... I wasn't compelled to go play it because the night before rendered a "soft" stop flag for me. Didn't help that I didn't have enough cash on me to play anyways, so that would have been an extra trip to the ATM (which is a bit out of the way), and I was in a lazy mood, lol.
About the only thing I can really count on in NC right now out of the systems I have to draw on is using the Pick 3 Panther. Everything else is hit and miss. Sometimes the other systems that go with it work, sometimes they don't. It's a real PITA to crack NC. I get the impression that they cycle the balls and machines a lot more than any other state, and patterns are hard to form or come by. Given that most of the mid-day draws are pre-recorded is even more worrisome. It means that if a key falls during the day, the nighttime might not conform to the day-time key, because they use a different set of something. Add to that the fact that afaik, the machines cut off an hour before the draw, it just reeks of "rigged". (In Ohio, with a 730-something draw, you can buy right up until 7-715, at least you used to be able to)
They say numbers never lie, but people can and often do manipulate the data to make the numbers show what they want. NC is inconsistent with other states, that much is true.
Anyways, I'll keep plugging away in NC, but at least for Wednesday, I'm going to back off and let the game settle out for a draw or two. Might play tomorrow night, might not. But when I have 4 different possible plays and I've learned to CYA by playing 0-9, I do it. It's a minimum of $5 per draw, and I don't have the funds to be dropping $40 per draw right now.
