I have the book by Gail Howard (not the software yet) and with the OK Hot Lotto 1-39/1-19 I made a quick cheat sheet to help with the number selection.  Here it is:

Hot Lotto Worksheet

Groups are on page 39.  The check colummn means put a check there if the group is looking due.  The groups are 4 numbers but for Powerball maybe size 6 for 1-59.

Next section is from the Percentage System, page 49, but instead of 5 and 10 games I have used 4 and 8.

Games out is on page 41 and on her website.  Possible numbers are numbers that fit that game out row.  Total and avg are on page 42 and are the sum of the games out row and avg is the average of the games out for all 5 numbers on that row.  A low avg number means that hot numbers have been hitting, colder numbers could be due.

Odd even low high are from pages 35, 36 and help with what is probably due.

Last digit is from page 48 and shows the last digit from the last 4 games.  She uses 5 games.  Using this I have used numbers from less active groups.

The next section is from the hot number from Hot Lotto 1-19.  On the section numbers for wheeling the first part is A:___ which is a number for the Power Number on pages 113-114 wheel number 53220-1.  This is the wheel I use which uses 20 numbers.

The wheel on page 117-118 uses 39 numbers but it has 3 Power Numbers.  I wonder if this wheel could be used for the big Powerball game which is 1-59/1-39.  Just a thought.

One big weakness of my chart is cold numbers.  Don't know how to track them.  This chart is for using no software and Gail does have wheels on her site.  Another weakness is how to choose the power Number, working on it.  I think that using a hot number works fine.

I am paper trading but did get 4 out of 5 numbers with my chart and would have won $8 for an $11 investment.  I do expect that I would have games with no winnings.  But the lottery goes up and down, nature of the business.  I would use 20 number for $11 three to four times a month.  I can swing that ok I think.

Anyway just throwing out my chart to see if anyone wants to give me some tips for improving it.

'Anyway just throwing out my chart to see if anyone wants to give me some tips for improving it.'

    Nope.

Aside from telling you that you can make the same chart without a book to tell you how.

Also, your mistake is thinking what is 'due', because if everything hit that was 'due', we would all be splitting jackpots every single draw.

Example, as of right now, in the last ten games of PB, do you know how many numbers between 1 and 10 have hit?

    TWO.

So on about game three going forward people would have been playing a number from 1-10 because it was 'due', and they would not have hit a number from that pool (1-10) for seven straight games, #8 hit on June 1, #1 hit on July 2.

Lastly, you will notice every number becomes 'due' at some point, these all turn into super-longshots. By all rights the five longest shots should hit all at once, but they don't.

So what am I telling you?

Well, besides books and software being junk, you can go for a 'due' number no matter where it is inthe realm of things, but you can only pick two of them - maybe, and usually just one. If a book or software can tell you what to play, we would all be winners EVERY DRAW.

Thanks guesser.  I think that you are right about the big games like Powerball and Megamillions.  They hit all over the place and I don't think that they are worth that much to play them.  Powerball will go to $2 next year I think.

However for the OK Hot Lotto which is 1-39/1-19 there is a better chance.  It starts at $1 mil and I have seen it go up to $12 mil.

The reason that I use a chart and am looking for some software (like Expert Lotto, maybe) is to help me become a better student of the numbers.  For example lets say a player shells out $10 per week for $40 a month or even maybe even $80 per month.   That's not too bad, most of us could live with that.  Now let's say that there comes a time when all the numbers drawn are within the last 8 games or even 7 or 6 or maybe even the last 5 games.  No cold numbers.  Now this could happen 2 maybe 3 or 4 times a year.  This chart stuff is to help predict what areas are running hot and which are running cold.  Like fishing.

I'm just hoping to be ready when the fish are all in the spot where I think they will be and win and collect the prize.  A student of the numbers that watches them over time might be able predict when and how often they hit in a way to get them all on the same ticket.

Yes I know it is all random but there will come a time when a person can collect them all on one ticket, is what I'm hoping.

Relatives may tease you for playing but they will become believers if you win.  I know IF.  A player needs every help they can get.

Home, home where I wanted to be.
