It depends on what you can afford redhot, DH & I only play scratchers when we go to Texas they have several $20 games that we play, like $500 million Frenzy & $500 million Blockbuster . Those are the only games we play.

I only play Set for Life scratcher from California, rarely any else.
Have you had any luck with those? I bought 8 California Set for Life Scratchers too. Bought them at different locations, different days and they are all losers. One guy posted in his blog with pictures to prove it that he bought the whole roll, 100 of them @$5 each. Out of 100, only 3 of them are winners with the winning amount of $21. That is out of $500 worth of tickets, he won $21.

That is pitiful. I would take them to the lottery and see what they could do. That is beyond unreasonable. I would think all packs should pay back 40% minimum, but I guess they have to offset the big winners somehow.
I have been flip flopping back and forth about my theory on random or same games. I think on one hand the lottery odds suck that bad you have to stay on one game and maybe one location to play the safest. The more you jump around, the better chance of keep coming up with losers. Let's say every ticket has 3 losers before a winner. In a perfect world, you buy 4 in a row and you win. Let's say there are 20 diff tickets in a machine and each one just hit. That is 60 losing tickets if you buy 3 from each of the 20 bins. Now you goto 4 other stores and it is the same thing. I know odds are this won't happen, but just as an example. Now granted it could be sitting on all winners and you could mix and match and win on every ticket. I have seen too many $500+ winners at the place next to my job to think if I stayed on one game, i could have one of them. Instead I jump around and others hit. To each their own I guess. I know James1 swear by rolls and I am starting to understabd why. Yeah you are guaranteed to buy up some losers, but you are guaranteed to buy a good amount of winners also. I am sticking to one game for awhile.

I'm sticking to one type for a while. The new $20 game here has been lousy for me lately, so I'll be buying 10-20 $2 tickets per day. When I build up enough winnings, maybe I'll really test Diamond Millionaire with 5-10 consecutive tickets.
