A new Florida scratch ticket promotion: Beginning July 18, players who purchase a $1, $2, $5 or $10 MONOPOLY Scratch-Off ticket with a Flamingo stamp on it at 7-Eleven will receive a free $2 MONOPOLY Scratch-Off ticket.

The Flamingo stamp referred to is a large pink star symbol on the back of the ticket in plain view without having to scratch anything.

All anyone has to do is look at the back of a ticket and they will know instantly if it is one of the random lucky ones. You can't miss the large pink symbol stamped on the back.

Link to picture (don't know how long the image will be there but it is the first promotion - one of the tickets in the image is reversed with the the pink star flamingo symbol on it): http://flalottery.com/inet/aboutus-specialeventsMain.do

      I agree !!

7-11 clerks are shady enough as it is this  is just an invitation for them to hold certain tickets and alter a roll cause of the stamp ...

I don't know what it is about 7-11 but there have been several criminal activites occuring at the 7-11 near me and I don't want to go there anymore.   However, the clerks are very nice at this one.

I'm sticking to a few specific stores, Publix and there are 2 mom and pops that I like, other than that I don't have any other stores I want to get tickets at.

I've cut back as much as possible to ease the pain of spending to much on the Raffle, down to under 100.00 a month and definately want to steer future gambling into some other forms at the casino's or sports.

I was also thinking about throwin in 100.00 on day trading (actually half hour trading) because I saw an ad that talks about getting in as soon as the Exchange opens and closing all your stocks out wihtin 30 minutes.    The example used 500.00 and explained that you could double up and do that every day, making 500 a day (in the first 30 minutes).  We'll see, may try it.
