So I tuned in to the live online draw tonight, and man, what a difference from the NJN broadcasts! And not for the better. No human element at all. I know the machines always fired up and drew numbers by automation, but why the sterile presentation? On top of that, there's no graphics, and the camera shot of the actual numbers portals on each machine barely allows you make out the numbers! That fading from single machine to wide shot between each game does not inspire confidence that this couldn't possibly a pre taped event. No recap at the end, no "thanks for playing, suckers!" Nothing. NJN must have been paying for the on-air talent and production values. That old familiar feeling encroaches - you know - where one more thing gets cut back and downsized, and you're supposed to get used to the lesser result.
Of course, also, I see the 0 then the 5, and hope rises in me that at long last my 503 will come in, which I had 5x boxed, and the 2 pops up! The perfect purgatory between 503 and 254. Played ahead because of the storm, so I'm ready to throw in the towel until the week after Labor Day. I say I'm ready, but will I? It would hurt more if my cluster rolled in one after the other . I'm glad I at least gave NY a rest this past week.
I see 53 is still a popular pair - 503 has to hit this week!
Also staying with 254 374 Doubles 449 499 884 448
and because its a nice cheap 50 cent bet I hope we're due for a triple: 555 888 and what the hey 000
Seems so simple: three digits, 168 to one odds when boxed... all you have to do is pick the right ones!
