Hello, long time lurker, first time poster. I am in a "neighborhood" lottery pool that has grown quite big. Heres how it works.
each player pays $20
Each player picks 10 numbers between 1-52
The first person to hit their 10 numbers on consecutive drawings wins. e.i.- one of your numbers hits on mondays drawing, another three numbers hit on the next etc..
the lottery used to play your numbers is the Illinois lotteries lotto (pick 6, 52 numbers)
Here are the basic trends:
It usually hits on the 5th drawing for 1 single winner. If it makes it to the 6th drawing there are usually at least 3 winners that split the pot.
During that span, it is usually about 22-25 unique numbers. So if it is five drawings, 22-25 of the numbers were not repeat numbers.
The jackpot has grown to a very, very large number ( 6 figs)
there is also 5k pot for people that hit 9 out of 10 to split
there is also a 3k pot for people who hit 0 out of 10 to split.
So there you have it. I am not sure if I explained it very well but what I am looking to do is find a way to get 10 numbers quicker then the trend, which is 22-25 unique numbers .
Maybe someone who knows a little more about the illinois Lotto's numbers trends.
thank you,
Magoo
