  Remember the Jonas/Jonah story in the Bible that he got eaten by a big fish...It says that he was in a ship and the sea became sudenly tumultous/rough and it says that the guys that were going in the ship became concern/frightened wondering what was causing it...It says that God wanted Jonah to go somewhere else...

  Now pardon me if i am wrong or for my lack of English, but it says that the guys in the ship casted: lots to see who was responsible...the word casting lots in spanish it says that they: Echaron Suerte to see who was responsible [maybe translation]...echaron suerte in spanish sounds like they: gamble or play cards or some sort of game or gambling game even though i dont know how they could had done it in a rough sea...it says that the blame or luck or finger fell on Jonah...

  now if they didnt gamble thats fine but if they did??? thats evidence that a force was in action and caused the blame/luck to fall on Jonah....

  again: Evidence in the Bible that ghos/spirits/a force/God/Angels can or do influence what plays in the lottery...
