While leading race, jockey thrown over infield rail by horse; top jockey Julien Leparoux & his mount, 'Here Comes Frazier', had led all the way in the Bourbon Stakes

The Daily Racing form reports Leparoux suffered only minor injuries to his wrist and fingers  rode in two more races later in the day.

'Here Comes Frazier' was not as fortunate. The horse had multiple fractures in its hock and will need surgery. Trainer Ken McPeek expects the two-year-old colt to survive but never to race again.

The $150,000 stakes race was won by Animal Spirits.

Even when you know, you never really know!
