I was going through some old stuff and found a booklet, "Maximum Lotto Riches" from Guerrilla Guides.

That's all the info, no author name or publication date, none of that.

This is from the booklet:

In the lottery, the order of the draw creates a number. For example: 9-3-4-9.

In this example the winning number is 9349.

Each number appears in a column.

In the lottery the sequence or order in which the winning numbers is drawn if of vital importance. In order to win you must choose the wining number in the order it was drawn.

If you had chose the number 3499 you would not have won even though you chose the same individual numbers as the winning combination.

I don't know how old this info is but here someone was selling lottery information and they themselves thought you only got paid on a straight Pick 4.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Whoa! This guy spent a lot of time to figure that out!

Wonder how much he won. You think that works in Texas?

Seeing as how the booklet is, "Maximum Lotto Riches" not "Winning Chump Change With Boxed Wins" there is a certain logic to not explaining box play if the strategy were say positional tracking and wheeling straight plays where you do lose when not an exact match.

Anything advice of value in the booklet for straight play?

                Hi BobP,

No, not much. It's a 90 page booklet and from pagr 58 on it's not even lotto, it's how to get government money from various programs.

I'm not sure how old it is, but there's a section called Powerball vs. Lotto that starts out "Power Ball has become all the rage in  Lotto type games", so let's assume it's not really current.

I still don't think whoever wrote it was just sticking to the title of Maximum Lotto Riches, I think they were unaware of playing other than straight Pick 3/4.

At the ebnd of the Pick 4 example they say the differnce between lottery and lotto is that in lotto you don't have to pick your numbers in exact order to win.

Considering that almost the last half of this book about lotto is a compilation of information and addresses for government offices anyone could find out in their local library, I'd say the author isn't quite the expert they think they are.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.
