This type of venture needs to be handled strictly on an individual basis...the individual being YOU.
With thousands of scam artists out there, I think you've just made yourself vulnerable to the possibility
of being contacted by people who care nothing about you and what you want.
Instants..
If you're looking for a grand prize remember this...there are millions of tickets printed for any one game.
More of them if they extended the game. They supposedly increase the prizes with extensions but that
doesn't mean you WILL find one then either.
When you have a top prize count in a game with 6 - 7 million tickets of 3 - 5, your chances of finding one
are very, very low. Visualize....6 million tickets - 3 top prizes...where IS it? WHO knows? That's one
of the things I attribute to sheer luck...it's out there somewhere but doesn't mean it is anywhere near
your area, in the front end or back end of the release or has/hasn't been won yet.
What are you going to be happy with? Just a top prize? If so, plan on being unhappy. If you are going
to be happy winning a decent amount to fund future purchases which is more realistic, plan on being
happy more often.
If you're not winning on instants, something has to change. Location, time of day, tickets amounts,
amount spent, times per week, at what point in the pack you're buying from and how many you buy.
1. Find a store where you do well often.
2. Have a limit and stick to it...don't get suckered into buying more than 2 $20's, 2 $10's, 4 $5's, 5 - 10
$2's or 20 $1's. If it's not your day, sometimes you can't make it your day. Buying more doesn't make
sense sometimes.
3. If you win, LEAVE with your money.
4. Start keeping track again....especially of ticket numbers.
5. Start paying attention to the numbers on the ticket...NOT serial numbers.....but the PLAY field numbers.
There are things to look for...now, whether they change these things every so often is beyond me but it
seems that they don't change it drastically so you can't get the hang of it.
When you have YOUR PLAY FIELD NUMBERS being 7, 17, 37 (or any 3 matches for that matter 5, 15, 25 -
8, 18, 38 - 2, 12, 22) and YOUR NUMBER is 27 (35 - 28 - 32 all the in-between numbers of the ones in
parenthesis) buy the next one and if it does not win STOP. If you're numbers are all one off, STOP. If
your numbers have no connection at all to the play field numbers, that's a good one to go with for the
method of buying no more than 2 $20's....2 $10's....4 $5's....etc.
The front few numbers of a pack and last few numbers of a pack seem to do good. Don't rule out
first tickets or very last tickets....some people swear by those. Personally I would rather buy a ticket
at number 008 up and 025 up to 029 (I've done well on those numbers in the past....$100's mainly but
still that's $100 - nothing life changing, only mainly good for reinvestment purposes but still $100)
6. If you get a winner of ticket cost and are within your budget and want to try the next same game, buy
one more. There are times in certain games where there will be back to back winners...$20/$40, $20/$100,
$20/$20...this usually works when you win the $20 first...and not the $100 first. I wouldn't buy another if
I won the $100 first.
7. You need to be the first hawk there, nothing like showing up after the machine has been drained.
Keep an eye on who is out and when. Some of these hawks will strip a machine clean and leave you
with junk. It's important to know when you're playing junk but most important to keep #2 in mind. UNLESS
you win a good one, then you can reinvest in other kinds of tickets.
8. I've seen it too many times.......don't buy multiple tickets out of a bin...by multiples I mean 10 and
20 at a time. I think part of the reason the miserable hawks look miserable is they can't stop. They feed
$200 in the machine in no time and win $20...lol, no wonder they're frustrated.
9. Be realistic about how you play these things...if you want to win a top prize, by darned, don't buy
all the tickets you can.....there's luck, some win/win methods and some win/lose methods, good days and
bad too. If you are going to win a top prize, it's going to be out of the blue IMO, it's nothing you can MAKE
happen.
10. CHANGE your fist choice...or your top choice of tickets. Have a favorite? Go against it some days.
Pick something ONE of what you normally wouldn't buy. One time I asked for a ticket and the guy gave
me a different one..I kept it because he already tore it off and I thought, ok, no biggie. Well, it turned
into a $500 winner and I would NOT have selected that one at all.
11. Change the ticket denominations....$20 tickets can win you a million dollars but if you lose all
your $20s in one day, how are you going to win anything? (this advice is only good for people who like
to play and aren't..... .....'actively' seeking to become an instant millionaire off 20 $20 tickets. I still
say, if THAT'S going to happen, it'll happen on the first one or two out, otherwise it isn't meant to happen,
at least on THAT day)
12. Don't play at just one store, your local store might be the bum store where you don't win anything
much, ever.
I'm not an expert in anything - I don't work for the lottery - don't work for a retailer - don't have winners
to 'sell' (I still am not quite sure of what you mean by that....if someone has a winner, aren't they going to
keep it?) I'm just a player. With a lot of experience. I haven't won a million dollars...yet. The most I've
won on instants is $5,000 on a first one out $20 ticket. I've won loads of $100's and down and enough
$100's and up....$200's, $400's, $500's, $1,000's. I spend a lot of money but win a lot too. I'm not bragging
- that's nothing to brag about...I'm just a player who thought you might like to read a players take on
things. It's my opinion, but it works for me. I hope you'll shuffle up your game mode and try some new
things.....sometimes slumps are self-inflicted...it's a stubborn side effect of some people fall into, they let
too much emotion run their game. It's a game, play what you can afford but play smart. Think smart and
start winning smart.
One of the main reasons to change your choice of tickets is I believe they run in cycles....if you play $20
tickets and they aren't doing squat for you...the $20 tickets might not be hot for your area at the moment.
Believe it or not, the $2 ones might be at that time. Don't turn up your nose at a $2 ticket..some of those
offer top prizes of $10,000 and there's plenty more than just 3 - 5 of them in a run of 6 - 7 million tickets.
Good luck and win a good one!!!!
