Hi All:

I just joined this interesting sounding group. I tried in the past hour to buy a ticket at two area retailers (7-11) but neither could get the numbers on the slip to go through.  They even had a supervisor try and she said there was an embedded number but no one knew what that meant. I know the numbers changed for the new PB but my numbers are within that set.  Perhaps there are new slips to fill out that no one has yet (in Northern VA). Never had this happen before.  Any clues?

Thanks.

    Hi, Artist77.

Yes, there are new slips with four less Powerballs on them. The old ones probably don't work.

Thanks.  Bought my big $2 ticket in DC today .  At least they knew about the new slips and had them out.  Heard the clerk telling one guy the tickets now cost $2..he was shocked.

Be careful buying in DC. You'll probably have to pay a lot more taxes if you win there.
