"PS I ignore the PB jackpot and rarely ever do I know how much it is. That's because I play PB for a second place win. (Odds are 11 million to 1 to score a one million dollar win) Those are pretty low odds to win a million bucks when compared to Lotto (and other states) six number games. I always buy The Power Play option and many times I play the exact same line more than once on my ticket. If I have 5 numbers (the five white balls) with The Power Play Played, and three identical lines on my ticket, then I'd win 6 million dollars. Where else can you win 6 million dollars with 11 million to 1 odds against you? You cant find that deal anywhere."
The Cash4Life game would seem to be the better game to play to win a million dollars.
Cash4Life - 2nd prize: 7,282,018
Mega Millions - 2nd prize: 12,607,306
Powerball - 2nd prize: 11,688,054
However, when I run 60 total numbers with 5 needed to win the second prize ... these are the odds I get: 5,461,512 - 1 ... total combinations, not 7,282,018.
Try it for for yourself ... do a search for a 'lottery calculator' ... must be a lottery odds calculator ... 5 out of 60 total numbers.
The Cash4Life game seems to be the better game to play for a 'million' dollar prize.
I am only talking about a $2.00 ticket on all three games and only winning the 2nd prize of a million dollars. If you buy $3.00 tickets on the MM and PB games then that changes everything.
If you have the 'bankroll' to play C4L everyday ... then you can speed up your chances up of winning that million dollars ... I happen to like that. I have totally stopped playing all the other lottery games and channel all my money to the C4L game.
I currently play two sets of numbers with two of the Cash Balls, I gamble on '2 out of 4 Cash Balls' ... so if my numbers do hit one day ... I will get at least two million dollars or maybe eight million dollars with first and second prize. I used to play '3 out of 4' Cash Balls with the old setup.
Like anything with gambling, you must have a 'bankroll' or a 'lot of luck' ... but having a chance to play everyday over the old '9 plays a month' sure speeds everything up.
In the first month of 'everyday play' with C4L ... I'm happy with the results, had some wins, so it wasn't a total loss playing with only 60 numbers compared to MM and PB. I used to go several months not winning anything with C4L over the old '9 plays a month' setup.
You can probably also play QPs instead of your own numbers and you may do just as good. You have to experiment to see what works.
