I think most of the people that read this thread are aware that I have written that I play the lottery for fun and entertainment.
It'd also be true if I said: "Oh yeah, I wanna win a jackpot too." Like my tagline says, it's not likely that I'll win one, but it certainly is possible. So I'm definitely going to continue to play.
In a week and a half from now, I'll be in New York City for a week or so. But I personally wont be buying any lottery tickets while I'm there. I wont be able to because I'll be stuck inside a hospital, recovering from surgery. I have a son and a daughter and both of them live in NYC. One lives in Manhattan and the other lives in Brooklyn. So I'm gonna give them money to buy tickets for me when they come to visit me. I aint passin' up the chance to get me some of that good NYC luck!! Everybody knows that most winning tickets are sold in NYC, so I'm gettin' in on the action. Do you guys think I should give more money to my son that lives in Brooklyn, or my daughter who lives in Manhattan? I think Brooklyn, because it seems to me like Kings County is always on the NY Lottery's webpage where they show where the winning T5 tickets are sold. I'll be very careful giving any money to my wife to buy tickets for me. She'd hit Lord & Taylor's or Saks or Macy's and I wouldn't get many tickets. Lemme tell ya, she'd NEVER pass up the chance to hit those joints.... Lotto joints aint exactly her style.
I'm telling you good folks this now, because as one person who posts here knows, I'll be gone off the LP for a while until I get back home (in upstate NY, in Dutchess County) and get back online. As a newly wealthy man I might add.
