One of the reasons I like to play the lottery is because I like learning about the behavior of the numbers. (I'd like it even more if the numbers behaved like I think they should or want them to.......)
I've been playing the lottery regularly since 2009. Prior to that I played sporadically, and I had no idea what I was doing because I had put zero effort into studying how the numbers behave.
Just today, after seven years of studying the numbers, I learned something new. That's exactly why I like it... because I find something out that I had absolutely no understanding of/appreciation for until now.
OK... so what did I learn today that I never knew before?? I learned that in NY's Take5, 74.9% of all numbers drawn over the entire life of the game were a 9 skip or less. That means if you concentrate on short skips and give extra heavy play to 4 skips or less you have a very good chance of picking some winning numbers. What I also learned is 25.1% of all T5 numbers ever drawn where 10 skips or greater. (longshots)
I wondered if the same is true of other states 5/39 games. So I checked California Fantasy Five, and Florida Fantasy Five (a 5/36 matrix). Lo and behold there it was - 75% of all numbers drawn in Cali Fantsy Five were 9 skips or less. Same thing is true for Florida Fantasy Five.
So tonite, I played T5 with mostly short skips. (9 skips or less) I threw in a longshot here and there too. I'll post here how I made out. G5
