      After my ticket is printed I check it for being what I asked for then I go to the counter next to the nachos dispenser and fold my ticket in half then I put it in my wallet.  I only take it out to do maddogs challenge and then check it for the drawing.-weshar75

         I don't believe a cross will help your cause as I don't believe if there is a god that he/she would care who wins the lottery as according to the bible we are given free will to decide our own fate.

         I myself don't believe in superstition however I find myself falling into some superstitious habits. like;

        -On occasion I will be on a winning scratchie run and will use the same coin for the next few days. And conversly sometimes I'll switch coins after a losing ticket.

        -Sometimes I'll "marinate" or "incubate" a scratchie after finding that it's a winner, I'll let it sit for some time before scratching the prize.

        -I'll have my son pick numbers for me trying to repeat his one time keno success.

         In truth, although fun to discuss, none of it really matters. It all comes down to "right place, right time"

        Scratchies for the win!

            I always walk to get my tickets and usually find a "lucky" penny along the way.  I used to clip my tickets together with the lucky penny clipped on top.   I tried writing WINNER! on the ticket.  I tried rubbing tickets on my cat while intoning ooohhhhhmmmmm.   Nothing worked, so far, but I'll keep trying.  Clown

                  I don't have any rituals or superstitions, but I would rub the tickets on a skunks a** if I thought that would help.

                        Never hurts to be in a good frame of mind. Positive vibes carry over to everything you do.

                        I have two shirts and two caps I wear to buy tickets. Primary color: Green

                        The alternate is: BURNT ORANGE with Longhorn emblems.

                        I relax, fill out playslips at home, and go about the same time in the evening.

                        My greatest accomplishment is teaching cats about Vienna Sausage. When I need a friend, all I need do is walk outside, pop open a can, and every little critter in the neighborhood drops by to say "Hi!"
