On another thread I mentioned how 1 and 7 are a Hot Hot pair to play and come up frequently in jackpot games. Upon further research... (this time by number positions)....I've come to find out some more information to pass on to lottery players.

Quick.....what 2 digits have shown up the most in first and second position in just this year alone?

(Actually it's a tie between 2 sets.)

Take a guess.

Scroll down for the answers.

Were you close?

1-3 and 2-4  have been the start of winning jackpot combos 36 times apiece this year. (so far)

If we look at All History results here on the LP it shows 1-3 have started 2381 Jackpot winning combo and 2-4 have started 2462 jackpot winning combos.

I'd have to shave off a few of those for each because in the results it also includes Canada and some European results and I'm just going for US results. But even those numbers are staggering.

No Wonder We Haven't Been Winning! LOL.

Well, let's start changing that now. We're going to turn Pick 5 into a Pick 3 game.

Don't they always say that "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day"?

Well, most of us, me included, have not been "starting" our day right.

Time to start each and every day with the "Breakfast of Champions".

I'm going to list the "champion" numbers here that have started out winning Jackpots the most. Maybe some of you already use these. If not, NOW's the time to get on it!

You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!You Score A Home Run!

If you do any research at all using the great tools here then you will probably come to the same conclusion....to give yourself the best possible chance..... make sure you start off any ticket that you play using a set of the numbers above.

Going to take this one step further....will be back with some more info to help maybe narrow down the states and which combo you should be looking for in your state. So stay tuned! Working on that tonight.

No more skipping breakfast! Let's start our day (and tickets) off right! Big Grin

I went back to Jan '11 to find out what was due for Arizona. Not going to have time to do every state so if you were interested....use the past results here on LP and go back at least a year and mark off all the sets that have already shown. They will most probably show several times each as I found with AZ.

But ones that have yet to fall in Arizona are:

        1-13   1-15   2-7   2-13   2-15  3-14   4-8   4-14

I added the 4's in there also as this is another number that will fall frequently as well as 5. The first five are the Top 5...remember that. Start your tickets off with either 1-2-3-4 or 5.

        Good Luck everyone!

Isn't there some unwritten rule where the next jackpot winning numbers can be found in the past 10 draws?

Did a quick number search for 3rd position numbers to go along with the due ones in ARIZONA. Alongside each number is how many times it came up in the 3rd position.

          Here were the results:

          3-4x

          4-19x

          5-39x

          6-52x

          7-76x

          8-120x

          9-137x

          10-175x

          11-194x

          12-206x

          13-263x

          14-236x

          15-263x

          16-247x

          17-281x

          18-302x

          19-247x

          20-306x

          21-271x

          22-255x

          23-230x

          24-208x

          25-208x

          26-179x

          27-158x

          28-139x

          29-115x

          30-80x

          31-50x

          32-39x

          33-27x

          34-12x

          35-9x

          36-5x

          37-0x

          38-2x

          39-0x

Okay,so what does this tell you? Arizona players....if you have number 3, 4, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 or 39 as a third digit on your tickets right now....chances are it's not going to be jackpot winner.

You can see how the numbers peak around 17-21 then gradually go downhill.

Let's see if any of these are in the last 10 AZ draws.

          Funny. 17's showed twice...18 once, 19 once, 20 once but....aha! 21 hasn't shown in the 3rd position.

Well...wait a sec...let's do a quick search on 21 in 3rd position for this year.

17's only shown those 2 times this year.

          Here's 18...wow...6 times already.

I'm going to go with 21 since it's the only one that has been the longest out. That doesn't mean anything in the lottery world but I need a 3rd digit and why not go with one of the hottest? So these will be my 3 spot starter choices for upcoming jackpots  in AZ Fantasy 5. If something pans out then I'll be happy. If not...well then, back to the drawing board!

              1-13-21     1-15-21     2-7-21    2-13-21     2-15-21    3-14-21     4-8-21     4-14-21

              Bj55phs,

I hate to refuse anyone asking for help but I just don't have the time to do this for every state, I'm sorry. Only showed AZ for an example of how anyone can go about this. If you update your membership to platinum...even for a month...you will have access to be able to search your numbers this way. It's well worth the $7.95!

                      sat 3/21 lotto pick 6

                    1-3-25-26-49-52!!!

good eye...i forget these sublte details ALL TO OFTEN...

i would like to exrapolate a little using deltas...

                    using code (N2-N1)-1

the 1-3-17 is easier represented and better tracked with

                    1 14

1 -14  can equally represent the combo 2-4-18

i am proposing a key spread, that could be used to elucidate coming triads...

                    1 - 14 spacing

also can be "translated" into other combinations.

lets say you track the dueness of "no units" when it "feels" ready

                    you can start a viable combo with numbers 10-12-26  or 11-13-17  a "wheel" would also include 11 12 13 17 and 11 13 18,

all my wheels are customized by spread and skip...

I personally use a sophisticated DSH chart with many colors and pattern trackers to see if i can spot a bias, and optimize my spread.   If you can guess the perimeter  numbers correctly then you only have to match one more for a small prize towards the break even goal.

Usually I can see patterns but i am working on prioritizing the patterns, in relation to other charts...consistency is key...i am only working to get luckily...optimally for starters my goal has been to play $80 and break even... but crummy codes and inconsistency has been my downfall...

I am currently in a $189 break even program...and i have reduced my wheel from nine to five games...so thus i can play longer...any way...

I like the 1 - 3 - 17 in my P5 so i will let you know how it goes!   Thanks for the TypeWhite Bounce

                    How about a $189 challenge?

P.S.  As of right now i dont have any terminology to distinguish between "deltas" and "spacing"

Maybe Δ and Ξ   i would use sigma but sigma generally means sum...

BTW, i use A+ for a lot of number crunching...i usually find...but then forget.

I also use some basic math and simple arrays to create my custom wheel which i base on skips and spread.

This is in excel...VBA looks real boring to learn!  Crazy

                        sat 3/21 lotto pick 6

                      1-3-25-26-49-52!!!

good eye...i forget these sublte details ALL TO OFTEN...

i would like to exrapolate a little using deltas...

                      using code (N2-N1)-1

the 1-3-17 is easier represented and better tracked with

Crazy

                      Hey Lotto!

Looks like you got a lot going on there, lol. I'm a little lost with skips and all that....just a data girl here. Whatever you choose to do with what I've posted....more power to ya! Haven't got started on the Pick 6 yet but that's on the burner.

These are the Hottest 2 "Starter" Numbers in order now. You'll notice I've added some extras as I went about researching today.

Take a look at your tickets, kids.

Any of these starting out your combos? The higher up the list they are....the better your chances of catching that Jackpot!

Isn't there some unwritten rule where the next jackpot winning numbers can be found in the past 10 draws?

Did a quick number search for 3rd position numbers to go along with the due ones in ARIZONA. Alongside each number is how many times it came up in the 3rd position.

                        Here were the results:

                        3-4x

                        4-19x

                        5-39x

                        6-52x

                        7-76x

                        8-120x

                        9-137x

                        10-175x

                        11-194x

                        12-206x

                        13-263x

                        14-236x

                        15-263x

                        16-247x

                        17-281x

                        18-302x

                        19-247x

                        20-306x

                        21-271x

                        22-255x

                        23-230x

                        24-208x

                        25-208x

                        26-179x

                        27-158x

                        28-139x

                        29-115x

                        30-80x

                        31-50x

                        32-39x

                        33-27x

                        34-12x

                        35-9x

                        36-5x

                        37-0x

                        38-2x

                        39-0x

Okay,so what does this tell you? Arizona players....if you have number 3, 4, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 or 39 as a third digit on your tickets right now....chances are it's not going to be jackpot winner.

You can see how the numbers peak around 17-21 then gradually go downhill.

Let's see if any of these are in the last 10 AZ draws.

                        Funny. 17's showed twice...18 once, 19 once, 20 once but....aha! 21 hasn't shown in the 3rd position.

Well...wait a sec...let's do a quick search on 21 in 3rd position for this year.

Okay,it's shown 4 times already. Hmmm.

17's only shown those 2 times this year.

                        Here's 18...wow...6 times already.

I'm just thinking out loud at this point. This is where I always get stuck, lol. Any thoughts AZ players?

Isn't there some unwritten rule where the next jackpot winning numbers can be found in the past 10 draws?

If you can get a list of the draw history and any matrix changes, we can find out exactly how good the rule is.

In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you.

acutally the unwritten rule is last 5 draws. and it has to do with individual patterns forming, and not individual numbers...

patterns such as FF and BOT,  there are other patterns also but these are hard to detect.

One pattern i like is freq. of two numbers repeating together...that is relatively easy to track but difficult without good code.

i found the most frequent occurrence are two 0D skips together, two 1D skips together, two "golden skips" together, and even two hangers together...

You will find a pattern in MM that cant be found in any other game except powerball, and that is FIVE LONG SHOT will appear in a game...no other game in the U.S. has this pattern as occuring REGULARLY...

Unfortunately i am not tracking it in MM because it is just more time and work...although i can easily chose 5 long shot numbers and i would pick "12 as a banker".

I read you do code T*T, i have some good ideas that i have been working on for a while...also some supplemental charts to advantage plus, that joe has never written.TypePonder

I'm not familiar with the meanings of "FF", "BOT", etc, but yeah, skip and positional patterns do a bit better within short time frames of drawings. The really nice thing is that those patterns are similar across games with similar matrix sizes.

The current AZ matrix is 1~41; I don't have their draw history, but I have looked at this on a game with a smaller matrix and I'd predict that over a few hundred drawings, all 5 numbers showing up in the previous 10 drawings would happen well below 50% of the time.

Wink I've written a macro or two. I'm in the market for new ideas. Post here or PM me.
