I just made the deadline today at midday, and when I just saw that long out 733 was the hit, I knew I was covering all the "out in 2011" doubles.... right?
Checked my stash, and no, I didnt play it in the bunch at the midday deadline, but I had a boatload of 374! But it nagged at me - how could I give up on any of the "out in 2011" doubles? Then it occurred to me - I had worn a different jacket because it was cooler early this morning when I dropped the crumb snatchers, I mean little angels off at school. Then I had gone by a retailer to play a couple key numbers in case I didnt make it back - what did I play? Checked that other jacket's pockets and BAM!
733 wheeled x3! Nice! Gas tank fillup and new laser printer toner cartridge here I come! Oh, and a decent Mother's day gift!
I'll stay on 779, 488 ( heck, ALL the "out" doubles!) and kola2121, I see you still have the pair that might bring me 374! And maybe even 503? NY dropped 245 at midday, which is my favorite 254 boxed, but I didnt cross the border today - its been kinda droughty lately. Probablt would have only been a 1x box anyway, like 374 was boxed Monday in NY. 779 and 488 also came in NY recently, but I can't be upset about that. Two state playing can drive me nuts if I let it!
Back to NJ: Even though I didnt play at my favorite retailer for this hit, tell me, why do I feel the need to cash out there - is it to show them I do actually hit these babies once and a while? So maybe I won't look so pathetic playing as heavily as I do? They saw my 1100 score in late April on 188, and that nice 254 for 2Gs in March - why am I so needy for validation that I can continue to bag a few hundred now and then?
