  I'm in Maryland. I've played Racetrax and still new at the game. Just wondering how the prize money is determined per race considering it fluctuates from a few hundred bucks to a few thousand bucks per race. I think the race happens every 5 minutes or so and prize money vary. How is the money piled up? Is it determined by how many people and how much they bet for the race?

  They do seem real happy about taking in 1.71 billion last year and keeping most of it!
