This doesn't seem possible.  Maybe 8 are friends of Speaker Madigan.

I would bet a fortune cookie had those numbers. This is why you should NEVER play numbers like that. A 400k annuity or about a 140k lump sum after taxes. Better off hitting the little lotto. To beat 10 mil to one odds and get such a pittance would make me ill.

It seems fishy to me, I wonder if they were quick picks and good ole Illinois random generator gave out that many duplicate combos, I'll be watching for more info on this one and no I wasnt one of the winners nietherWhat?

This stinks...it looks like most all of them were own picks.  Hmmmmm!

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!

Winners were all over the state.  Fortune cookie sounds plausible or some other number picking source.  But why would anyone want numbers that many others might be playing?   Sharing might be nice for kids, but not when it comes to millions of dollars.

yeah I think you're right. Fortune cookie does sound plausible.

Anyone using the new Illinois online system?  Seems to work well and avoids the C store clerk pimping the other games.

The fortune cookie angle, or something similar (horoscope numbers maybe) might not be too far fetched.

None of the 9 were QPs, here's the whole list, prety widespread throughout the state.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

$416,666.50 is still a nice payday. Thumbs Up ( pretax )

It's still 2 to 2.5x the Sunday Million.

Of course, $3.75m is wayyyyyy better.  Banana( pretax )
