look at the results , the winners are mostly from CA or NY states. Why is it so, I think the game is rigged?

Can anyone check and let us know, why are the others states are left behind?

California and New York tend to have a lot of winners because they have such large populations compared to the rest of the nation. CA is home to over 37 million people, almost 12% of the entire United States. Over 25 million people live in Texas (about 8% of the nation) and almost 20 million people live in NY (about 6.2%). In comparison, your home state of Louisiana has only about 4.5 million people, which is about 1.45% of the total American population.

In other words, they have more winners because they have more players.

Feel free to believe what you will but what I know is that there is a website that lists lottery sales by state for every

Megamillions drawings. NY and CA always lead the list. It does not mean that buying more tickets means you'll always

hit but it sure makes the odds more favorable. Remember when we had that ginormous jackpot? one of the winners was

from Kansas. Keep playing and one day it will be your turn to win
