So how much money would you think warrant a financial planner? I mean if you only won 50,000 you wouldn't  get one or would you....I was thinking upwards of 250,000 would definantly warrant one..... depending on your situation of course

    Anything over 10 million. Below that I would tie up most of my resources in commercial real estate.

      Aside from advice on where to invest the bulk of my money to grow the interest , I wouldn't consider hiring a financial planner.

      My sister teaches this stuff at a major University, and I would consult with her only.

        $250k would buy a house, and a money manager can invest the rest.......

                    Not in a town of 15,000 people or so.  For years Upper Sandusky, Ohio had one of the busiest McDonald in the country at Rt. 23 and U.S.30.  It all depends on the location.

                              Yes..... having the grayhound bus stopping at the local McDonalds is always a big plus for the community.
