So powerball went up this year to $2 from $1 for non-powerplay and $3 from $2 for powerplay tickets....Now many people balked at this and said they wouldn't play anymore but many more still do....So my question is "What if they went up again"? Maybe this time $4 for non powerplay and $5 for powerplay tickets...Wonder what the jackThe "What ifpot would be? Would people still play? If they did would it be as much as they did before? Aaaaaaahhh the "What ifs" just keep coming LOL

If it did go up again. Less and less people will play. Wouldn't be a smart move.

Yeah but they did it last time and I don't think it was a smart move...It was probaly more of a test the water thing...but still they did it and prices held...I mean what's to stop it from happening again

Be interesting to see what happens to the Jackpots when California joins Powerball in January 2013.
May not be any need to change the ticket price, one way or another.

Yes, i was just getting ready to say that,,even if gas is $6.00 a gallon,,

even if stamps go up to .50 cents each,

even if Power Ball goes up to $3.00, $4.00, $5.00,...

Most People will still buy them,
