I've heard before that money changes people around you more than it changes you...I sure there is alot of truth in that ...but if you won millions of dollars I'm sure its going to change you too...quite a bit....but I think if it brought out the true feelings in people so you could see them for who they truly are, and you could cut them out of your life forever....I'd think that would be a plus...wouldn't it???

The way I heard it was "When you have money it's easier to change the people around you".  I took that to mean you can change the neighborhood you choose to live in.

Well, if both people change, then they both get to see sides of each other for who they really are...and there may end up being a mutual feeling that disassociation is best. Gotta be very, very careful how you treat people when earning, or, having come into sudden wealth. Those same people you see while climbing UP the ladder of success are the same one's you'll have to see when coming back DOWN...if something goes wrong while you're on top.Wink

Man ain't that the truth....My neighbor hated his job so much and had problems with his boss, he burned bridges and left....so he got a different job...a contract job and when the contract ran out, the old company  he worked for was hiring...but he couldn't even get an interview....kinda screwed himself

Say to people that you won big, and see if they change, if they start treating you like money bag. Don't have to win for real to see real faces of people.

Yep, there was a discussion here a while back about "testing the waters" with a fake jackpot win. There are ways to find out what your new life could possibly be like..
