One can think math has something to do with numbers combinations that win. Aerodinamics - may be. Mechanics - may be. Some common sense also. If you imagine each winning number combination as separate number, which it is in a sense, then you'll understand that you are given a task to find one number among hundreds of thousands, or even millions. You have to find one particular number that looks almost like many others. That is insane. If you'd be given such task at work, you'd ask for a big raise, here you pay your own money to do the unimaginable. You have tiny time frame, 1 day, or few days, or a week, to find that number. I think you'd succeed  better in discovering unknown planet.
