One strategy is to look at digit frequencies:

 Digit @ First  position @ Second  position @ Third  position @ Any  position 0 49 4 3 3 1 0 1 1 0 2 23 2 9 2 3 6 12 6 6 4 16 5 25 5 5 2 13 23 2 6 5 0 2 0 7 4 9 0 0 8 26 6 12 6 9 1 3 21 1

Note that 0 is out in p1 49 draws and 8 is out in p1 26 draws.

If you are chasing Sum 10 like many of us are because this sum is way over due, combos like 019,037,046, 055,028 and 811 make sense. The other sum 10 combos are: 145, 235, 334, 136,226 and 244.

There are 13 sum 10 combos so if you simply box those and one hits then for every dollar you make either \$80 or \$160 less your \$13 bet. You need to hit by 6 draws to break even. Since it's so "overdue," it's got a better chance than most to hit if we assume that it all evens out in the end which statistics indicate that it does.

Looking this chart at sum 10 as 0xx - 055 looks real good..

No Sum 10 combos have been drawn since the mid day drawing of 820 on January 1st and the expected rate is once every 16 drawings.

Moreover, the longest the Numbers game has ever gone without a Sum 10 being drawn is 110 draws so we are pretty close to the extreme record.

118 one of my dorm rooms in college.  And I notice it has been popping up in the posts!

I will be conservative and play it box for a couple of draws, because when I start chasing straights I start getting flustered!

Anyway I can do a lot with 80 bucks!

Everytime I think I get free of this game it pulls me back in!

Just trying to help us make some money - in this case with a Sum 10 strategy.

The longest out no-match Sum 10 combo is 235, now out an astounding 549 draws.

The longest out double digit number is: 055, now out 504 draws.

Oh no did fox drop the 308?  I better put 10 dollar str8 on it!

Last 10 draws.  LOOK FOR A REPEAT IN POSITION THREE WITHIN TWO DRAWS!!!  If no repeat then disregard.

So beware the 7 to repeat tonite.  Hopefully it will walk to 8 then 8 will repeat so we will have two chances at the 118.

We all seem to be lured to the 118 combo especially since we haven't had a 11X FP for a while - in fact not since 112 which was drawn on November 10th - 200 draws ago. But the probnlem with this thesis is that the Double 1s have already been drawn twice in the past 2 weeks of February.  Double 8s on the other hand seem more likely, though of course there are no Sum 10 numbers with Double 8 so that  bet is outside of a Sum 10 strategy.

That being said, Double 8s are interesing since non have been drawn since January 7th when 788 was drawn. Prior to that though it was drawn 4x in December and 3x in November. Moreover Double 8s were by the far the most frequently drawn Doubles in 2012 drawn an amazing 29x for the year.

So while they appear tempting now, they might be beginning a slowdown given how much they drew last year, so i'm not inclined to chase. But if they do hit, they frequently hit back to back.
