What's even crazier is that the wife went to the mall and said she didn't even feel like there was anything she wanted to buy! And the husband says he'll continue driving his 8 year old work truck and has no plans for buying a new vehicle. Why do people who are perfectly happy with what they have always win the lottery. Me? If I won I would get a new car and travel the world. Unhappy

another good question is:  why, if they are content and happy as is... why play the lottery at all?

This puts odds of winning, strategies, do some number combinations have better odds etc etc to sleep. Isn't it? Can't believe same store, couple, same game, same town, buy tickets and win big prizes. How can this happen? as much as I hate scratchers, more people seems to winning scratchers, this may be because there are also lot many scratch off games compare to regular games. people spend lot of money on scratch. I just can't dare to buy $10, $20 scratch. That is where you win though.

Good question Max, some people hear their inner voices (Intuition) louder then others & act on them, it's been often said that being inuitive is the key to a lucky life. And as we approach another Chinese New Year of Snake,;it brings up a venerable ancient proverb that to live a lucky life is better then living a good life!

Hope everyone experiences good fortune & fun

I think because it allows you options. I don't want a new car and am happy with my 5 year old car but would it be nice to make my hours 100% mine? .... and decide where and when I do this and that vs feeling I have a window of 2 hours to do this, etc.  And would I like to set up a charitable foundation, YES...lol
