I was going to get a $500 winner, but after I asked the retailer that I wanted to purchase the #007 ticket from the roll he told me "Alright, hold on on minute", then went to help someone getting gas. He then came back towards me and decided to give that particular ticket to another man that came up behind me. I was shocked and said "Hey, that is the one I wanted!", he then got angry with me and told the man behind me "Good Luck, it is the same # as my girl's birthday". I got real mad and told the guy I am pretty sure you got the winner now, and then super furious when the man scratched it off and yep, the elusive $500 winner I was working on getting. (The highest win I've gotten in scratch offs was $250 so far) It was supposed to be my ticket. I called the retailer on it and he got even more mad at me and said "Some #s are not always gonna win." I came back another day and he denied it happened, but then later that night I got him to admit I was right. To rub it further in, he said "You know, after you left #014 on that same roll won $500 too". The audacity of him to say that! The other guy that works there that I trust told me to give the guy a pass! He admitted I was done wrong but that the guy should get a pass due to him having to work a lot of hours lately and stuff going on in his life. Sorry but everyone is having tough times right now and it is no excuse to be treated that way. I just wanted that particular ticket from 100x. Sorry guys, I am just so furious right now...
